i recently stayed at preston park for one night and was pleasantly surprised. the receptionist was super welcoming, and my double room was quiet and well decorated. the bed was really comfortable with fresh bedding, which allowed for a great night's sleep. the hotel is conveniently located just out of the city centre, making it easy to explore. also, i loved the various recreational opportunities available.

our stay at preston park was quite nice! the location is great, very close to a lovely cafe. the staff at the reception were super polite and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the start. we really enjoyed the continental breakfast, even if it lacked butter. the coffee was hot and tasty! we appreciated that they served us wine, even after the bar had closed. overall, it was a good experience!
the shower could use some improvement.

Just a reliable pick for a weekend jaunt in Brighton with very good value for money. The staff were accommodating when I mentioned the shower pressure was low, offering a room change right away. I recommend checking the water pressure before settling in.

It was just a smart choice for a weekend stopover in Brighton with high value for money. The room was clean enough, but the tired decor really needs updating. Try to get a room away from the damp smell.

Great staff, comfy stay
Had a nice couple of nights here. The staff were super friendly and really attentive. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. WiFi had issues, but it’s fine, stuff happens! It’s also cool that there’s a bar/lounge area to chill. On the downside, the shower pressure was kinda lame, just a dribble really.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We explored fantastic hiking trails nearby and hit up some cool local clubs. The location was super convenient for getting around. Just a heads-up, the hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean enough for our needs and ideal for a group getaway.
One downside was the noise from the traffic at night. My room wasn't exactly peaceful because the window was broken and didn’t close properly.

The room size offered ample space for a family while the bathroom provided quality towels that felt luxurious. Conveniently located just a short distance from local attractions made it easy to explore without hassle.
Comfort fell short, with mattresses that didn’t provide the best rest, and the shower’s weak pressure left much to be desired. Navigating the hotel can be a workout due to the absence of an elevator, which may not be ideal for everyone. the decor and furnishings had seen better days, leaving the room feeling outdated and lacking warmth.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating during my stay, addressing my requests promptly. The location was convenient, being just a short walk from the city center and public transport options.
Some areas showed signs of neglect and needed refurbishment.

Brighton’s culinary scene is unmissable! The Station Hotel Pub and Kitchen was a delight, serving up solid pub grub just a short skip from the Preston Park. Plus, the free on-site parking is a lifesaver when you're hopping from spot to spot!
The room was clean but quite tired, and I couldn’t help but notice the lack of double glazing—definitely a noise issue. When we rolled up one night, the front door was locked, and we waited in the cold for ages before someone let us in. not cool at all!
